THE PATH THAT LEADS
THERE'S a path that leads to Nowhere
In a meadow that I know,
Where an inland island rises
And the stream is still and slow;
There it wanders under willows,
And beneath the silver green
Of the birches' silent shadows
Where the early violets lean.
Other pathways lead to Somewhere,
But the one I love so well
Has no end and no beginning—
Just the beauty of the dell,
Just the wind-flowers and the lilies
Yellow-striped as adder's tongue,
Seem to satisfy my pathway
As it winds their scents among.
There I go to meet the Springtime,
When the meadow is aglow,
Marigolds amid the marshes,—
And the stream is still and slow.
There I find my fair oasis,
And with care-free feet I tread
For the pathway leads to Nowhere,
And the blue is overhead!
All the ways that lead to Somewhere
Echo with the hurrying feet
Of the Struggling and the Striving,
But the way I find so sweet
Bids me dream and bids me linger,
Joy and Beauty are its goal,—
On the path that leads to Nowhere
I have sometimes found my soul!
I'm sure that you know by now from one of our latest Blogs Ashamed to be human that there is a dire situation concerning stray dogs in Romania and, consequently, the Foundation went from sheltering 600 souls to 700. That's a lot indeed, but their efforts are never in vain and they always do their best when it comes to them.
Still, they obviously need help. They need to buy large quantities of straws for the kennels, for the healthy dogs' warmth and comfort, they need food, they need absorbent pads for the paraplegic dogs, fuel for the generators and so on and so forth. It's very hard sometimes to reach the shelter during heavy snow storms, so they must be prepared for everything. Wouldn't it be great for Santa to visit them this year too?
Every donation is appreciated and it certainly counts. There isn't a specific goal to be reached this time, you just give as much as you can and as you desire. You can use their PayPal account, which you can find directly on their website: The "Hope" Foundation, or my PayPal account: email@example.com and I'll be sure to give them the money ( I'll soon be lucky enough to have exactly 2 years of volunteering by their side - on the day of my Birthday ). Just please let me know when you make a donation as you did last time, so I can tell them that help is on the way. I know that many of you usually ask me to keep your names and usernames anonymous and, don't worry, I'll respect that. Just send me a note and the problem is solved.
You can ask me whatever you need to, guys, you know that I don't bite.

The world a blur to most
Most see a tree as a tree
The day you actually see
When the world is not the same world
A tree is no longer a tree
A tree is something that bears fruit
A tree is something beautiful
Even in the harshest winds
A tree stands its ground
A tree with leaves of majestic green
No longer just a tree
But a tree that is a work of art
That is the day you see the world
That is the day the world comes into focus
That is the day you truly see the tree

Soak up the sun
Affirm life's magic
Be graceful in the wind
Stand tall after a storm
Feel refreshed after it rains
Grow strong without notice
Be prepared for each season
Provide shelter to strangers
Hang tough through a cold spell
Emerge renewed at the first signs of spring
Stay deeply rooted while reaching for the sky
Be still long enough to
hear your own leaves rustling.
